My first experiments with AI music. All lyrics are mine and all music (melody, voices, arrangements) is made by Suno Ai. It takes me 2-5 days to record a song, and Suno only minutes. With a better result than I can do by myself, I hate to say... But it helps to get my lyrics out there. Enjoy!

The beauty of the strandbeests I saw a documentary about Theo Jansen and his Strandbeests. Very impressive, the artist as well as his work. Singer-songwriter, folky song.

Maggot Joe Is the US midwestern guy who loves Trump and guns. Not too smart, though he himself thinks otherwise. Bluegrass / country.

Bad breed Nature or nurture? The environment we grow up in counts. Could I have ended up differently? Singer-songwriter, folky, country.

Don’t compare me The grass is always greener elsewhere. Unless you look at the parking lot. Funny song. Bluegrass / country.

The pit of selfpity You got better things to do than sitting in the pit of selfpity. Folk / country.

The twin towers from Tennessee Kind of story that is loved in country land. About remarkable twins that saved the nicest girl in town. Country.

Great childhood Nostalgic song about growing up. Singer-songwriter, folky, country.

Music can hit you hard Lyrics based on quotes by Ravel, Victor Hugo, Plato and Bob Marley about music.

Meet Johnny Bravo I was in a coverband called Johnny and the Bravo’s. In 2002 I wrote a few songs in the style of the cartoon series. They didn’t make it to the set list. Now they are on this album. Rockabilly.

Make that dollar count We are alle made of elements, that are worth about a dollar... Stadium rock song - a bit out of place here.

Pretty good... is what SUNO does to the songs. And every song is presented in two versions. Since AI costs a forest, I can’t throw them away...

In these alternate versions is much worth saving. For the first picks I first and foremost looked at the interpretation of the lyrics and variation in the chords. I would never write a four chord song - let alone a two chord song, as in the first song - but it works pretty well if the main melody and singing have enough different depth and intensity.

Most songs are variations in the same style - except for songs 8 and 13: Music can hit you hard is in R&B here (complete with an excessive ad-libbing singer ;-) and the extra Christmas song is brought to you by a boyband.

B-side 7
Suno creates multiple versions. My first pick is above, here are ‘the B-sides’ of the same songs.
